The whole premise of this evening was to try new things.

I met a girl a week ago at a mutual friend's birthday party. We were just casually talking and she mentioned she considered herself to be an "adrenalin junkie." We talked a bit more, but nothing more happened that night.

The following day, she added me on facebook and I messaged her "You still have to show me this "adrenaline junkie" side of yours!" We had a few back-and-forth messages talking about our life goals and bucket lists. Then I messaged her saying we should continue this conversation in person and she gave me her number.

So tonight, I decided for us to go out for bubble tea, something she's never tried before. And in return, she had to come up with something I've never tried before.

This was also a good set-up for a second date because after talking we realized we both have never gone to a drive-in theater before.

After bubble tea, we went to a park she's never been to and started to walk around. We then sat down on a bench beside a pond. I moved closer to her and then told her I never kissed someone with snakebites, which she has. So that was opening the door to kiss her and touchy-feely jazz.

So the take-away from this evening is to try new things, and also use that to engage others in new activities they've never done or go places they've never been to.
