Last week, I asked a girl out and she turned me down saying that she wasn't seeing anyone right now, but she wanted to be friends. Because I knew for a fact she's seeing other guys (I guess she was trying to not hurt my feeling), I responded: "I don't have time for new friends right now, but I guess I'll see you around then." I ran into her today on the train, and she asked me how my weekend was, so I said alright. I didn't ask her anything, but then she started telling me about how she contracted strep throat and was sick (I think its a shit test because she was looking at me as if she wanted to see how I reacted). I just dang damn that sucks and left. I was thinking that I should have said something along the lines of: that's something rude to tell me, why do you think I'd care, and walked off.
