Here's a quick AR for you guys. Nothing too special, but still interesting, I think. Not trying to teach anyone any thing. Not asking for advice either. Just for the sake of it.

Went to a coffee shop about a month ago. Got some tea, listened to some music with my headphones. Saw an attractive woman sitting with some guy. Guy leaves. 5-10 mins later, I ask what book she was reading. Started talking from there. Moved to same table as her.

I had just recently seen some of the videos by Brent Smith (I believe thats his name) about getting the girl to chase you, giving out your number. One of the things Brent talked about in one of the vids was that your aim in interacting with a chick should be to give her an experience unlike what she is used to. Be the guy who can lead her to some awesome experiences. So you probably shouldn't approach because you want something (sex, phone number, validation) from her, but rather because you have something of value to give her (a genuine compliment, a chance to engage in refreshingly honest conversation, a chance to be led to some really cool states of being).

This is all Brent's stuff, not mine!

Anyway, so I decided to give it a shot. My frame was that I am opening her to give her a chance to have some interesting conversation with me.

We talked about whatever the hell came to mind. There was no previously thought out material whatsoever. No attraction routines. Just pure, in the moment, enjoyable talk. We talked about school, work, religion, politics, philosophy. Everything you're not supposed to talk about with women lol. Maybe that advice is generally true, but disregarding it worked in my favor in this case.

It's not like I had intended to talk about these things, though. They happen to be interests of mine, and she came off as someone who enjoyed talking about these things too. If she hadn't responded well to the conversation, I would have steered it to some other direction.

Anyway, so I ask her if she would be interested in hanging out sometime and give her my number before leaving, saying "shoot me a text," as per Brent's advice. She texts me immediately. Besides this, there were also a few other signs that she was attracted to me, including how much she was into the convo and the way she was looking at me, brushing her hair out of her face, and a few slight, very slight, momentary, wide-eyed looks.

I text her a few weeks later just to see whats up. My intention was to keep her interested. We had a few good texts back and forth and that was that.

Texted her today. Got a good response. She sets up a meeting with me for coffee. She's clearly attracted and into it so I'm assuming it should be easy to just talk for a bit and head back to my place.

When I get there, she's happy to see me. We have a nice, tight, warm, extended hug. Then we get some coffee, get a seat and start to chat. It's just pretty warm and friendly talk for now, which is all I was expecting to start off with.

I notice she's talking a good deal and I'm having trouble setting the right kind of mood in the conversation. She's just talking about random unrelated shit - just facts and shit that don't have anything to do with us directly. I'm like, OK, we'll let this go on for a little bit until she gets comfortable.

After about five mins of this, I say, "Hey, would you.....want to go for a walk?" She's like sure. We go to a park. The same kind of conversation continues for a while. Shes just talking about anything and everything, all over the place lol. I transition her into talking about herself. "So what are you doing right now, where are you headed, what are your goals?" or something like that. She talks about that. Then, during a small pause, I ask "So are you single?"

-She tells me about how she is not single.

-I ask how long.

-She says 6 years.

-I'm like damn!

-Shes like yea....

-"So are you married?"

-"Oh, yea, I meant we've been married for 6 years - we've actually been together for about 10 years.... But I'm
not the same person as when we were married.. I used to believe in true love and stuff like that, but I've come to see its not really realistic."

-"Yeah, I know what you mean. I agree with you, traditional marriages are unrealistic.... So, is this an open marriage?"

-"Yea sort of, we have talked about it, but haven't done anything as of now.."

-"Ok, well, I'm going to be pretty honest with you, I'm not looking to be just friends."

-pause

-"You know, I'm glad you said that, I really appreciate it. And the attraction is both ways."

I softly, gently go in for the kiss. She loves it. She moans, as we kiss softly, no tongue, for a short while.

Then we keep walking. She makes some comment about how she feels comfortable talking to me and something about seeing her again. I gently tap her on the ass, she's like "mmm, you're a fun one!"

I ask her if she wants to come over or if she wants to go back to her car. She says she wants to go back to her car. "I have to do a little soul searching about this..."

I say, "No pressure. Either way is fine. Let me know"

I drop her off and we make out a little more before she leaves.

THE END.

I really enjoyed this one. =)

Edited some small stuff, and formatting.

Edit 2: I told her just before we parted that she was talking too much. She feigned offense, laughed, and then apologized.
