I'm trying something to get me back in the swing of things, and that is to create 30 field reports for every time I go out. Hopefully this will help me with progress, but also find recurring themes that could be holding me up. This is 1 of 30.

I went out to a local pub to meet a girl friend of mine (no, this FR is NOT about her) and partake in some pub game they had going on. Cool. I get there, and I see there are 3 girls and 1 guy sitting down next to where I'm going. I start chatting them up, one of the girl's is really attractive and totally my type. Turns out, she actually is friends with MY friend. Fuck yeah.

Start Off Strong

I start off strong, joking around with them all and whatnot, noticing the cute girl glancing at me a decent amount. I flirt with her and the other girls some... I don't really get to escalate physically much though due to positioning, etc, but I try to give an arm touch here and there (I do this with everyone anyway, it's just natural for me).

She even at one point tells me a story but makes sure to emphasize "JUST A FRIEND NOT MY BOYFRIEND" and even gave me an in to ask her for her number ("I'm interested in this class you're taking"). I fucking dropped the ball.

I fail to make a move, attraction waning

I didn't pull the trigger on the number opening... and I think lost her interest (NOTE: Is there anyway to salvage this now? I will probably see her around again). She wound up talking to some other guy my friend approached, and at this point, since there were no more girls there, I left.

Scarcity Mindset

I was a bit bummed that it didn't work out, but I may have another chance in the future (I think I'll see her a lot). But, it made me think of how much of a scarcity mindset I'm coming from to become bummed because one girl I just met didn't work out. Of course I didn't play everything right, I'm rusty as hell lately coming out of a few month slump. I need to try and live in abundance.

Any advice is always appreciated.
