This is the second part of a three or four part [FR] detailing a series of events that my friends found interesting. Last [FR] I focused on the initial meeting and setting up the date; now I will focus on the first date, kino, and closing.

Here is part 1

So when I last left off I had an upcoming date on Wednesday with Jill. Before I go into detail I'd like to give a brief run down on my first date philosophy.

The first date is arguably the most important part of seduction. My personal belief is that a first date should be three things: 1. Fun 2. Unique 3. Low-pressure. Most men make the mistake of taking women on what I consider 2 of the 3 worst possible dates, dinner or drinks; the only thing worse than those is a date at the movies. All three are terribly overused and furthermore two of them put all the pressure on you to be the sole source of entertainment, while the other bars almost all interaction. Do yourself a favor and plan a more relaxed date like bowling, mini-golf, coffee, roller rink, batting cages, stargazing, going to a barcade, ice skating, or maybe  hiking depending on the woman. All of these options provide ample opportunity to talk and practice kino.

Bring a backpack/over night pack and put it in the trunk of your car. Mine usually contains gum, tooth brush, cologne, change of clothes, condoms, a wine-key, and a movie. I almost always bring a bottle of wine also, but I don't keep it in my bag. If we're friends on facebook, I check out their profile and find a few common interests. Bring up things you both like is an excellent way to build rapport.

So I arrive about 5 minutes early at Jill's dad's house where she is house-sitting. I walked up to the door with the bottle of wine I brought and rang the doorbell. When she answered the door I greet her with a hug and tell her “Don't you look just stunning. Give me a spin.” Then I grabbed her hand and spun her around. It's good to come into her house before the date to build some comfort. Luckily I have a small bladder so I almost always can legitimately ask to use the bathroom, otherwise I tell her to put the wine on ice. After I used the restroom I guided her to my car with my hand on the small of her back. We talked about what we were going to do (bowling) as I opened and closed the car door for her. She told me she was “excited” because most guys took her on boring dates to restaurants or bars. I told her that we're going to listen to this obscure band we both happen to like and she was more than happy to. During the drive I asked her the basic interview questions that you have to ask. “What are you studying?” “Where do you work?” “How many siblings?” et cetera. This helps you gauge what's important to the woman you're with, but make sure you aren't just rattling off a bunch of questions; take some time to focus on each subject. One other revealing question I almost always ask during the early stages is “Describe your best friend.” This can tell you a lot about a woman, and most women like to talk about their friends. Plus it gives you a plethora of segues.

We arrived at the bowling alley, and I held the door open as Jill walked in. (I mention these things because a lot of people will tell you they are “beta”) I chose this venue because they have a special $7 per person unlimited bowling from 9-12 and really good drink specials. (The whole date cost me <$20 and I paid for everything.) The cost of the date has a direct link to comfort level. If you're blowing more than $30 on the first date, you're probably putting way too much pressure on the girl.

I'd also like to note that Jill was being completely unreceptive the whole time from beginning to f-close. Her answers were short and she seemed completely unreceptive to my kino, but she never gave me any outright indication of disinterest so I continued to escalate.

Jill hadn't been bowling since she was a kid; so I tease her about her poor bowling skills and offer to show her “my form.” The whole time I'm practicing kino; when either of us does well it's a high five otherwise it's a light push. Conditioning is an incredibly important part of human interaction, whether or not you'd like to admit it. I know I'm generalizing, but women are very competitive, so it's good to challenge her imo. If you don't believe me take two women out to lunch; it quickly turns into a competition of who can eat less/spend as little as possible.

Although I hate routines, the conversation started running dry so I ran the 5 question game and I won. So I made her buy me a drink despite her protests that “a man should buy drinks for the woman.” This was during the course of our second game of bowling. I used to want to be a screenwriter, so I always bring up movies. (Talk about things you are passionate about). I almost always ask what a woman's favorite genre of movie is, and when she reflects the question she is usually surprised and interested by my response. My favorite genre of movie is romantic-comedy and my favorite movie is “500 days of summer” If they haven't seen it, which Jill hadn't, I say “Wow you have to see it. Maybe we'll go watch it after this.” I continued on with the date until the end of the second game when I could tell Jill was clearly done bowling. I suggested we go play some arcade games, so we did. After a couple of games I suggest we go buy “500 days of summer” and drink the bottle of wine at her place. She agreed so we headed to Wal-mart where I immediately grabbed her hand and led her to the movies. Unfortunately, they didn't have the movie so I half-jokingly suggest Inception. She quickly agrees and I take this as a sign that it's on. When a woman agrees to drink wine and watch a 3 hour movie at midnight you can take that as a go ahead.

We get back to her house and I crack the bottle of wine while she puts the movie in. If possible you want to let her sit down first so you can sit close to her. I like to put my arm around her shoulders and pull her in close so I can whisper commentary in her ear; then I use my other hand to lightly run my fingers up and down her legs. We finished the wine in about 20 minutes and as I set my glass down I turned to her, put my hand on her chin, locked eyes, and commenced the make-out. I usually wait for the woman to suggest moving things to the bed room, which is usually pretty soon into the make out if you're on a couch. When we get to the bedroom she puts up a little LMR, “I don't want people to think I'm a slut.” I just told her, “It's not like I'm going to go shout this from the rooftops.” Then laughed and pulled her in to seal the deal. We hooked-up for a couple of hours and then we just laid in bed talking for about two hours until I started to fall asleep. I decided to leave and as I left she thanked me for the wonderful night; then she texted me another thank you and I told her to text me again some time.

That's all for part 2. I'll try to condense the events of part 3 into one more [FR]
