Went out last night to meet a mate as we were both off work today so thought we'd hit town fairly late. An hour in the bar and then off to the club

Approach 1: There's 2 hot girls at the bar. I smile and ask them how their night is going. They look slightly alarmed for a second at having a stranger talking to them but one replies 'fine'. The friend looks away. Then the one that said 'fine' quickly grabs her friends arm and they shuffle off.

Approach 2 : I open a girl sitting by herself. I open her by introducing myself. She says 'Oh. Errr...hi?' back to me. I ask her name, what's she's up too tonight etc. She's waiting for a friend. I ask her what she's drinking. I make a comment on the environment and am trying to get her to talk, but she's not playing along. Not really sure what to say here, but she sort of saves me by saying 'Anyway, my friend will be here soon. It was nice to meet you'' I bail.

Approach 3 - In more of a clubby place now. I spot a hot young girl. I decide to try 'direct' and say ''Hey! I had to meet you!'' but she replies ''Sorry, you're not me type!'' although she was actually kind of polite about it. Not bitchy.

Approach 4 - I open a girl by commenting on her leapard print jacket. She smiles. I ask her name, age and stuff. Ask where she's been that night. She seems mildly receptive but is not asking me anything back at all and so it's getting hard to keep the convo going. I try make it a bit more 'man to woman' in my body language, but she says 'i'm not interested, sorry''

Approach 5 - I'm dancing and 2 hot girls seem to move from a different part of the dancefloor and are now dancing close to me. IOI? I extend me hand and smile as if to dance with her, but she looks at me like i'm crazy and turns her back to me and cuddles her friend and move away a bit lol. I guess I mistook her dancing close to me for an IOI or maybe she was just teasing me. Who knows.

Approach 6 - Open another girl at the bar this time and am just like ''hey! Whats up!?'' and smile, but she is not into me. She just backturns and walks away. Not to worry.

Made a few street approaches after the club closed although it was pretty quiet. There was some old, overwight woman who seemed quite flirty with me (i'd attempted to chat up some hot young girl who blanked me and then this older woman jumped in her place) but I wasn't into her

Probably out again tonight or tomorrow to try again. For reference I'm like a 4/10 according to 'rateme' but trying to use game to beat the odds lol
