So my buddy calls me up and says he's bringing over some girl, he uses her first name like I should know her which is our secret way of calling dibs. So I'm at home doing nothing and now have to entertain my buddy and a HB7 I am not going for. It's difficult. She's not bad looking and into a lot of the same stuff as me, but my goal is to get my buddy laid tonight, not me.

He wants to go see a laser light show in downtown so we get in the car and of course she's got tons of weed (Happy 4/20) which we proceed to blaze.

Here's where the story gets weird and I hope someone can help me out here. He asks me to drive. It's his car, his girl, his night, and he wants to sit in the front passenger seat while she has to sit in the back. Then we get to downtown and he just starts complaining about a stomach ache and doing no escalating. Meanwhile I've been winging for him HARD. I talked his dick up like it was prom night. Downtown's a bust so we're all super high in Seattle city center and he just wants to go home. No bars, no night life.

At what point in the night am I allowed to start hitting on this girl? He brought her all the way to me and is now dropping he ball hardcore. I took him aside and he just says he wasn't feeling it tonight.

We go back to my house and we impress her with our Rockband3 skills... She leaves and nobody's relationships were furthered in any way.

Phew. Okay. So what can I do next time? If I see her again should I talk about my friend or start escalating myself? I'd like to at least have this option open just in case things don't work out with them so I could still have that bridge.

TL;DR: No lie, I'm still a bit stoned but I just thought maybe someone could give me some pointers for delicate situations between bros and hoes they've called dibs upon.
