For me: my biggest mistake at the bar scene was trying to have a real conversation and then get a number to set up a date at the end... Nightmare.

Half an hour later I see her making out with a random guy, she ends up leaving with him. I ask his friend turns out they just met.

There's nothing wrong with looking for a "real" conversation. Though it's unclear whether you were having one with that girl because you left out what was actually discussed and how you carried yourself as you did so.

But if you don't want to push for something physical that first time you meet them, there's no requirement to do so.

I think you were right. Sometimes the girl just isn't feeling it. Or since you were looking for something more substantial and she was apparently looking for a more "fast food" sort of interaction, then your values weren't lining up. That says nothing bad about either one of you. Just a mismatch.

I mean, if all you want is disposable sex, then yes, this was the lesson for you.

But if you wanted something serious, then the issue is that you were looking for that in the wrong place. So this girl left with some random dude, in a place where girls go to meet up with random dudes. So what? That doesn't mean you should have changed your approach to looking for something disposable, if you wanted something serious. If what you really want is something serious and stable, then changing to pursuing disposable interactions isn't going to make you happy in the long run.

Of course, you haven't mentioned a thing about what your dating goals actually are here.

So... she wasn't interested. I hate this seddit mindset that if a girl shows disinterest or says she has a boyfriend, that's always a "shit test." No, sometimes girls just don't like you and you need to cut your losses and move on.

No. Your problem wasn't that you were trying to be a "gentleman." Your problem is that you went in there with tons of expectations, which caused you to act needy and aggressive. And your "solution" is to act even more needy and aggressive. You're doing it completely wrong.

That was a game changer. I started doing a lot better after that.

I highly, highly, highly doubt that. What is "doing better"? Have you actually fucked anybody using this new "game changer" method? Because if you haven't, you can't say that the new technique is wroking.

Basically if she's like a hair stylist or a musician and she's drinking then I'd aim to makeout within 30 min of meeting her.

First off, the fact that you judge women by their job is disgusting and awful. Second, this is just wrong. You can't make out with most girls within 30 minutes unless they are sloppy drunk. Stop it. You are becoming a sexist creep.

There are a lot of fish in the sea. By changing your game you are aiming for a different type of fish which might be easier to catch, and if that's your thing go ahead. Just read your post back in a couple of years and reflect if this is the direction you want to go in.
