No I wouldn't tell a girl I read that book. It's not necessary.

Women are very perceptive and instinctual. They judge a guy for what he is as he stands right there before her. She doesn't care what he was like 2 years ago, doesn't care that he's on a journey of self improvement, or anything like that.

It's the man standing in front of her right now that she either wants to date, keep as a friend, or shun and avoid.

I changed in a huge way right in front of many of my friends, male and female, as I learned game. Nobody showed any curiosity about what was going on with me. Girls never questioned why I was dressing better, gazing in their eyes more, putting my arm on their waist when talking casually or anything. But they all started smiling at me more, flirting more, talking to me more, coming to sit near me and texting me more frequently.

Sometimes I mention, "I heard this theory that guys should ..." or "I saw shoes like this on a style blog" but that's about it.

I saw Manson's "The Subtle Art of NGAF" on a girl's coffee table once ... it turned out that like me, she could barely read the first chapter. I didn't ask if she heard of "his other book" lol. Why bother.

It's funny as hell asking women about their experiences in clubs, at work, in the gym and on Tinder with the 99% of beta males that are out there. I never explain WHY they're betas but it's so easy (once you've studied pickup with the right coaches) to see where other guys are fucking up. No need to explain to them that there's a better way ... just be happy to be that guy.

I've never met a guy who was actually good at game and recommended this book.

Never tell a woman that you conciously learn how to pick up women.

Does anyone want to guess why?

Also you know how all the seduction gurus always say dont be needy and never put a woman on a pedestal. Lul by learning material about picking up woman with the sole purpose of going out to pick up woman is the very definition of neediness and putting woman on a pedestal. Improve yourself and when you meet someone you interested in, this is going to sound crazy, get to know them. Treat them like a person, be interested in them to see if they are interesting for you. Let your natural self come through and you will attract the right woman for you.

From what I realized, book is mostly about self improvement so I think it shouldn't matter that much but does it?

You don't need to "emotionally heal" yourself to date a cute girl, or have a relationship. Lord knows the females you deal with got more baggage than a flight out of China.

But if you do go through self development, you will be more satisfied with your dating.

Overall there are various pillars that a guy needs in order to succeed in pickup.

Health and fitness, technical knowledge, understanding social dynamics, female psychology and behavior, and inner game.

And a lot of these things don't have sharply defined edges. A lot of these things are interdependent. No one pickup course/book/guru deals with everything.

I have managed to think of a topic that isn't one sided when talking about user's opinions in this community. I feel like it could generate good debate, but everyone is saying what they think and nobody isn't responding to other user's opinions.

I thought the book was very good, I’m a late bloomer and still learning and thought the book offered a good perspective.
