Problem is it's tinder man. I mean I stop responding all the time simply because a) I'm bored with the convo b) I simply don't care any more or c) I forget. And I'm a dude. Girls have way more options (usually) than us and will stop responding for a myriad of reasons (One of my friends showed me her tinder lately and I looked at scores of guys she had stopped responding to simply because she deemed something they said as "creepy"). Again, it's tinder so you have nothing to lose, hit her up again and act like nothing is wrong.

Mark Manson mentions this in Models. Basically you don't want to waste too much time on her, but you also want to give her the benefit of doubt in case she genuinely couldn't respond. So his advice is "3 strikes and you're out" - try 3 times in total and if she doesn't want it, you acknowledge it, tell her it was still nice to meet you, and move on to the next one.

Tinder sucks. I've managed to get a few numbers, I tried the direct approach, I tried talking for a bit. Times where it seemed like they were interested, really interested. They are mostly attention whoring. Most of them. It helps if you are good looking. But I'll just warn you, this will probably happen a lot. Take in mind that women have A LOT of matches, even the not so good looking ones. Tons of men fighting over a single woman. She'll go for the best looking ones and of course it helps if you say the right things but only up until a certain point.

Don't be needy. That's like rule #1

Rule #2 is keep talking to other girls.

Rule #3 is don't put any girl on a pedestal.

I don't generally have an initial conversation with someone that doesn't result in me asking them out within 5 or 10 minutes. That way, they are much less likely to get distracted.

Some women are obviously more sceptical than others, but I've found it's much easier to get someone out the quicker you ask them out AFTER showing them you're not an average chump.

I usually go straight into teasing them to build a bit of banter. If they respond well to that I pretty much ask them out immediately. Don't have time to 'build rapport' over text. She just wants to know you're sane and fun and won't stalk her. Being playful, direct, and not spamming her with messages conveys that pretty clearly.

If she replies more than a couple of times she wants you to ask her out.. if you make her wait too long she'll get bored and move on. Maybe that's what's happening here?
