Seddit, I was out at a bar tonight, and I didn't open any girls I was attracted to. I talked to the doorman for a while, the shot girls who stayed and chatted after I told them I wasn't buying any (I don't count this as an open obviously) and some random guys for a little bit, but otherwise I didn't really open any girls and just talked to my friend.

Logically I know that I am the prize, be outcome independent, and don't rely on outside factors for state... but the second I go out and see women I'm actually attracted to, I don't approach, as if everything I learned fluttered away. I was doing better with approaches and whatnot a while back, but lately I've been feeling like I've hit a slump for some reason. It didn't help that tonight was the college crowd (who tend to stick to themselves more).

How do you keep the mindset of what you learned off seddit when you're out? I've been getting pretty damn discouraged to say the least. Maybe some sort of challenge that forces me to do this?
