So I've been quite a few first dates as of late. I'm 0-9 for getting a close but I've had 3 make outs, usually at the end or at least 75% through the date. I've tried going for a second date a few times with the make outs but I get flaked out on.

The dates that either didn't go well or neutral I left feeling like they didn't know me. I was trying to focus on getting to know them asking a lot of questions and slipping in jokes (unfortunately not my penis) whenever I had the chance. A few of the girls even said they felt like they were doing all the talking. I actually have led a pretty interesting life as of late and the things I've done have been fairly impressive. But anytime I talk about them I come across as a try hard.

I'm trying to make sense and reflect on what I'm doing wrong so any input or questions you might have please let me know.
