Maybe they're flattered and don't want to be a 'bitch' about it. Frankly, it's nice but not necessary. No need to thank me for 'following my dick.'

Yesterday, I approached a girl at a shopping mall. Said she was cute. She told me she had a boyfriend.

I said that my friend and I are here to meet girls. [We turn to my friend.]

We all have a 5min conversation. She asks us to join her for coffee.

Before that it was a girl (who also had a boyfriend) and her friend asking me to join them for lunch.

People like compliments. And most are stuck in mundane lives.

You're a normal girl. You just spent all goddamn day at your mother's house fixing her shit because she keeps breaking it and you're late for your classes and you didn't have time to do your hair right and you think you look ugly... and all of a sudden this attractive guy comes up and gives you a compliment.

I have to say some of these girls were pretty amazed at me approaching them (maybe they think men are not having guts to do it anymore? still the reaction seems weird to me). I remember I did one approach in the middle of the crowded mall eating place and had no anxiety at all. She had a boyfriend.
