The title says it all. Anyone else have a similar experience and have any insight on what to do/what might be going on when this happens?

To add some more details, I had a first date with this girl, things went great: nice conversational chemistry as well as physical (holding hands and a kiss initiated by her). The date lasted a few hours.

I then went on a vacation for a little while (she was eagerly texting me while I was away too), came back and we quickly had a second date. The magic of the first date wasn’t quite there however.

Maybe it was because we rushed it (we squeezed it in our schedules but we only had an hour to meet up), maybe it was because I was jet-lagged, maybe she had other things on her mind. We still were physical though so I’m not quite sure what to make of it.

I should add I’ve had this actually happen before once a long time ago where the first date went amazing but the second was very lackluster and I ended up having plenty more dates with that girl so maybe I shouldn’t worry. Perhaps this sort of thing just happens sometimes and it doesn’t mean you won’t have a good time with the girl again in the future.
