Has anyone read Conquer Your Campus by Mark Redman? How would you review it?

I read it. I always had the feeling that Mark Manson wrote that book. Not sure though.

Basically it says to not just cold approach, but get involved with extra-curricular groups. If you just sarge your campus solo you will develop a bad reputation. That is if you're a newbie. It's better to become involved in sports, arts, or other groups, to meet people. Also, hosting parties.

That book is from 2008. There are plenty of reviews online from back then. Try googling the reviews.

I thought the book was interesting for another perspective but you would probably be better off going with something more up to date. Essentially, it will explain improving yourself, building a social circle and providing value to people you would like to build a relationship with. For college, a lot of this will involve drinking.
