The 1-10 scale is just terrible to begin with, and while I do agree that people seem to inflate their numbers, its not like they are gaining anything from it or you are losing from it.

This is also why my friends and I stopped using the scale. Sure it is universally recognized but I've had friends show me 9s that would be 7s at best in my book, and shown me 7s that were 9s.

Right now I use two different scales. theres the yes no scale, which can be added to by saying how many drinks it would take for it to be a yes. Theres also the -3 - 3 scale. This one only a few of my friends know and it takes a while to get used to but basically: 3 - You will maybe see a few of these in your lifetime. These are the truly drop dead gorgeous and as soon as you see one you will know it. They are perfect and I have still yet to see one. 2 - These girls are extremely attractive. Think of the hotter actresses/models, the hottest girls you see around your city or campus. 1 - These girls are the "average" hot girl. You would never regret hooking up with one and you would most likely brag about it. They are the everyday hot girl barista or hot girl in your econ class 0 - These girls are average. You and your friends may disagree whether or not they are attractive or whether or not you would try and hook up with them. They have some attractive qualities and some less attractive qualities. -1 - This is that girl you settled for and regretted the next morning, this is the girl that is part of your story of the night you almost completely blacked out. They may have a redeeming feature or two but for the most part your friends would probably make fun of you for this -2 and -3 are similar to their counterparts in the positive end of the scale but the opposite obviously.

There are no .5s in this scale. It makes it easy because I rarely disagree with my friends on this scale whereas 1-10 is filled with disagreements.

TLDR: 1-10 Sucks. Don't worry about what other people say on the internet. Devise your own scales with your friends

It is completely subjective. Your game is your game and what you get from a girl is up to you. Unless you are trying to pick up girls just to show them off, it is totally up to your own taste/standards. If a girl is an HB9 to me and a HB7 or 8 to someone else, i'm still going to treat her and approach her and get the pleasure I would from what someone else might consider a "real" HB9.

Also, saying ANYONE can get an HB6 in this context is just plain douchebaggery. Seddit is about self improvement-not a pissing contest.

The HB Scale is meant for social value, not looks. A model in a bar full of cute girls would be 10, because she would have the attention of most men there but she would be a 6 or 7 in a bar full of super hot women. It's to do with presented appearance.

And stop being prissy. If you couldn't tell most of seddit's post fall into: 'How can I do something that I'm completely overthinking?' and 'Look at me, I'm having sex with a girl through my mad skillz and tactics and observer bias has nothing to do with it' despite the fact that the girls were into them anyway. Just let the circle jerk begin and go practice your shit. All the seriously upvoted posts are pretty sucky anyway, with more entertainment value than learning, posts with actual content barely get 10-20 upvotes. Fuck that, do your own shit and improve yourself. Stop giving a shit about anything but actual advice.
