Hey Seddit, I've decided to come out of my introverted shell. Through a lot of introspection I've come to the realization that I'm terrified of failure. I'm fed up with this "safe" attitude. Now I'm determined to meet new people.

Whenever I'm at a school library I like to ask the person near me to watch my backpack when I leave. I come back and joke with them: "Hey, did you have to fend off any thieves off?". Let the conversation flow naturally from there. Ideally I'll come off as a funny and open guy.

What do you guys think of this as a conversation starter? Do you have any activities that'll accustom me to rejection?
