Didn't really know where to post this, but it says self-improvement here. Long story sorta short (21yo/M), my nose is big & sorta broken around the top/ there's a bump & then it's curved at the bottom. So I'm pretty asymmetrical. Whenever I'm out, a good amount of people always touch/rub their nose after looking at me, etc. Sometimes, pretty vigorously and/or consistently. Once in a while, I'll get a look of disgust. In total, the nose touches happen ~50 times a day. Even my friends do it. I've been told i'm ugly in the past & I can see that. Once in a while, someone will get scared to look at me.

I'm in university, & though I have a decent amount of friends & I'm in activities & done well in them & am pretty smart & am pretty decent at conversation, this is really hurting me inside. I feel like a lot of times when people touch their nose around me, it's a rejection of me. It makes me feel like there's something wrong with me. Like I'm different. I've started developing anxiety & going back into depression because of all this. What should I do? How can I accept this? Thing is, I also want to start talking to girls more too, but I think I should figure this out first. Also I'm in counseling for this, but that hasn't been much help so far.
