Well it's simple, you have one bad experience or an experience you perceived as bad and you let it dictate everything about dating and relationships from there on out. After that, it just gets easier and easier to start to hate it and everything/anything can become a reason to avoid it.

Ghosting because…

I always get embarrassed…

People think...

Bars suck because...

Clubs suck because...

Gold diggers...

Dating apps suck because...

Men are trash because...

Women these days...

Most people just…

Well social media…

It doesn't even have to be more than one of those or any of those that starts someone down the rabbit whole. In fact most people have never experienced a moment so devastating while dating that it gives them a legitimate reason to hate or avoid dating. We’re not here to talk about those people who have though. Let stay focused instead on those people who had a tiny little setback or situation and let that snowball into an irrational fear, distaste, anger and avoidance of dating and relationships as a whole.

I want you to get back out there. Brush off the dust and let that one thing that happened that one time go. Seriously, dating and relationships were never meant to be easy so don't think it's supposed to be. Communication is tough for a lot of people and funny enough most of the people around you have no idea what they are actually doing. Yup, most people are just hoping things work out and that someone will come along and magically ́ 'like them”. There’s no perfect way to start a conversation and there is no right way to ask someone out. You cannot look at the world and wish it was different but rather look at it the way it is and conduct yourself accordingly. Be aware that things will be difficult but also be aware that your mindset (if negative) won't make it any better.

Get motivated. Get back out there. Yes, it will be frustrating at times but so is your job and your family (though we wish we could shit them out sometimes lol) You got this. Believe in yourself.
