Girls are more anti-social (like to communicate only with people they already know, or through none face-to-face communication) and more superficial (they are now more aware than ever of their beauty due to constant validation from hunks on tinder etc)

While people will call the game old school, it's the principles of game(dating) and should be seen as that. Game is playing off of human subconcious, which will never change (at least not for a veeeeeery long time after generations of Gene's have passed).

While more people found out about game and the tactics were used very commonly, this is offset by 2 things; 1 the population has also increased and 2 that generation which was used to PUAs using the same scripts is no longer the focal point of game. (People who were in their 20s in the 00s are now in their 40s, the people in there 20s now are a fresh group of people.

Now there are prominent things like Tinder, online dating, Instagram and other social media.

In the early days it was very routine based and cheesey. But now various teachings are a lot more natural and use real initiative instead of robotics. Those companies from The Game are long gone, but there's a new sequel which is more relevant and far more up to date.

I read somewhere that the events in book supposedly took place over a couple of years, but Style was actually doing game for much longer.

You can see in the book that his game evolves away from the weirder Mystery techniques towards a more sympathetic natural style. But I think that those old school guys never give up their routines completely. Once a palm reader always a palm reader lol.

Before pickup was based around certain routines and gimmicks that worked better since they were more like "trade secrets" back then. Now that they're more known, game has shifted more to focusing on nuance and improvisation
