Best way to not look "creepy" is to open the whole set. Whatever you're there to fix, go around to everyone in the vicinity and ask if they're having the same problem. Make your target wait until last, but be sure to DHV before you even get to her.

Obviously, since you're on a client site, you need to be very delicate, but if you have the skills to detect subtle IOIs you can plow ahead. Make a pretext that you'll need to contact her in the future about some new IT rollout, and get the contact info.

All real seduction is going to have to happen outside the workplace.

Finish up whatever you were doing there, walk over to her and talk to her. I don't see a reason why this would be inappropriate. You say you even caught a glance form her.

Well, are you a creepy IT guy? Except maybe funerals, there are hardly any situations where talking to another human being would be considered inappropriate. You don't have to hit on her, just talk to her, test the waters and take it from there.

That is a tough one, it's hard (and somewhat dangerous, career-wise) to try to isolate women in an office environment. In the case you mention, I would just walk up to the group and open them, either by asking what they're talking about, or asking an innocent question.

Your best bet to get them out of the office would be to try to maneuver to get invited out to lunch with her (or, more likely, a few of them). Sit next to your target, talk to her, and then as you're walking back to the office, try to get her away from her co-workers and get her number.

It's difficult enough that I would just say forget it unless you have a really good opportunity to talk to her. I used to spend a lot of time in client offices with lots of hot women, but decided it was too much work to try to run game in that setting.

I'm also in IT. Trying to get a hookup through work is risky for the reasons other posters have already covered.

However, work is a great place to sharpen your social skills. I started talking to everyone and being friendly. I get hugs from lots of girls now. Found some new guy friends too, including a couple fishing buddies. I've turned down a couple of indirect sexual offers from women coworkers too. Kinda torn because the career side of me says I made the right choice, but the man side of me says I shoulda gone for it.

Not sure how your office is set up and logistics...but I guess the simplest way would be getting away from your desk (i.e. coffee break, smoke break, breakroom, bathroom whatever) to give you more of an opportunity to bump into her. Also, if you're not a generally chatty guy at work, I'd start changing that now, this way if/when you bump into her, it'll seem more natural for you to talk as a co-worker...once bumping into her, just ask her to lunch or something. If she has a boyfriend, i usually respond with "it's just lunch, I didn't ask you to have sex or go on a date with me, just a shared meal between co-workers doesn't hurt." (or something to that effect) Just always be careful with work gaming, I've had a lot of success but often it can blow up in your face. If you have a horrible blow out with a chick from work, you still have to see her in the workplace from time to time.
