How do I develop a dominant personality?

Mine was developed through confidence being built by small success after small success. I used to be so fuckin cringey. Like....I was scared to talk on the phone to anybody. I hated being in public. I was...a total wuss.

I started working a really physical job and I was good at it. More confidence.

I started getting raises when I pushed hard and tried hard to earn them. More confidence.

Getting laid helps even more. More confidence.

Started college on my own. More confidence.

Graduated and lost over 130lbs during college. Fucking confidence explosion.

Girls throw themselves at me? What's going on? CONFIDENCE INTENSIFIES

Compliments from strangers everyday? CONFIDENCE INFLATES EGO TO EPIC PROPORTIONS, I BECOME A COSMIC HOT AIR BALLOON AND SEE SHIT DOCTOR WHO DREAMS ABOUT

But really, it starts out small, it builds like a snowball until it's an avalanche. Now I'm the bossman around other bossmen. Dominant men defer to me and make me the leader. I can remain quiet in a room full of talking people and if I even act like I'm going to speak, then several people turn my way.

Is that what you want? Because all it takes is the ability to be relaxed and happy wherever the fuck you are. That's confidence that others notice and gravitate to, even the most dominant personalities! If they sense you're as cool as fuck as them? Then you're cool dude, lead the way.

Dominant - forget that approach.

Be yourself, some people click and some don't. It's that simple.

Some girls like dominant girls some like extroverts

Just like Some girls like gentle guys and some like introverts

Fat, thin, tall, small, loud, quiet, dark, light, brown, blonde... The list is endless and that what makes the humankind so magical.

Focus on finding the right girl to match your personality type and someone you can connect with and you will be far happier with the outcome.

Pretending to be someone your not will only last for a short term before misery and sadness kicks in.

You want to explore whether there is a mutual connection with these girls, and you don't do that by "trying" to be "flirtatious."

I have seen that a majority of women attract to the most dominant personality.

Incorrect. What's happening is that they're attracted to confidence. Also, a lot of attraction is out of the guys' hands. Half of it is. There's no accounting for taste and some girls are going to be interested and others aren't.

The problem is, you've decided that you don't fit some idea of "attractive" so you aren't even really putting yourself out there. Your insecurity is leading you to pull back instead of engaging. You're fucking yourself over. Stop it. :)

This made me curious on how you guys developed your dominant personalities.

I never did. And I hold my own. Often, I've had a habit of making off with a girl while the "dominant guys" in the room never saw it coming. The thing is, it's not a competition. It's just that some girls will be down, and others won't. You go around interacting and you're going to click with someone who also happens to interest you. Sometimes it won't happen. But when it does, you really won't have to do anything except get out of your own damn way.

As far as how to "dominate," I'd join others in this thread in saying that you don't need to and trying to is a losing strategy.

For another model of how to conduct yourself in social interactions, you owe it to yourself to listen to even 5 minutes of Nick Sparks talking about what he considers the "masculine role" in conversation. The cool thing about it is that it highlights just how freaking easy it is. And yet we often think that we have to do more than we have to.

You don't have to be the dominant or top alpha in the room to get the girls. You just have to be the one ballsy enough to make a move. Some alpha guys don't get girls because they are scared. And some short skinny hood rats are getting laid because they think they are the shit. There is no magic bullet, but making a move while the alpha guy is impressing his friends might be crazy enough to work.

Leading the group without being so bossy
Fun

This will make you the leader of the group and as soon as yoinhave given some value and you have "earned" your leadership, you can be more dominant and even bossy as long as you do it in a not so serious way.
