I’ve run into this situation a bunch and I’m curious how people here think about it. Say you’re out at a bar with a girl. Another girl comes into your space a bit, maybe some eye contact, says something flirty to you, whatever.

What’s the right move here? I really liked the girl I was with, but I wasn't sure if I completely ignored the new girl and stay locked in on my date it would come off as too “sold” or like I don’t have options. But if you acknowledge or lightly engage the other girl, does that risk your date getting turned off or feeling disrespected?
