In terms of OLD, how much does location play a role in your success? For whatever reason, in my medium sized hometown, the OLD pool is absolutely atrocious. If I’m actually able to get a match with someone I find interesting, it either leads to one reply and done, a number exchange that goes nowhere, or most pointless of all a match, followed by an unmatch. Initially, this really used to piss me off, but now I’m just so unfazed by this exhausting pattern. All of this has me considering a move to a different city, simply for better dating prospects. I’ve noticed on prolonged trips to various large cities, I’ll get way more quality matches that actually have the potential of going somewhere. I truly don’t understand what it is about my hometown, but I’m sick of it and just to be clear, I use OLD as a supplement rather than my only means of dating, but it seems to do more harm than good in my current city. I know that modern dating today is absolute garbage, but I was curious if others had similar experiences.
