I have shitty social proof, as I’ve spent a majority of my younger life getting tossed aside by friends (at this point, it’s almost becoming a pattern), which in turn has made isolation a norm now. Furthermore, the one relationship I’ve had was back in high school, and after 1 year, during my sophomore year, she cheated, skipped town, and said all this in a FB message. Lastly, the one time I had casual sex was during a dark stage, a low point, in life where it only temporarily numbed the pain. Now here I am - piecing together all these factors that makes a man a man.

How much does social proof contribute to your ability to meet and succeed with women? Based on the summarized version of where I stand socially, depending on how much it contributes, it sucks - especially if losing friends (which usually involves me getting screwed over and cut off, even randomly) on a regular basis and minimal relationships (casual or not) are dragging it down. Any thoughts?
