"How do I get her to like me?"
I hear this question all the time. When you ask that question, it makes you seem needy, which lowers your value when it comes to women.

I'll explain why the need for validation makes you weaker in her eyes:

You've never met this woman a day in your life until now. So this woman, without even know how cool and amazing of a person you are (you have friends and family who actually love you so that counts for something), can break your confidence and self-worth with one phrase of rejection. So you're needy because you need her to like you to feel confident and good about yourself. This is a feminine trait and she doesn't find it sexy when men need validation the same way a woman does.

"That's sexist. How are you gonna say that needing validation is a feminine trait?"

I can explain how if that's a question you have in the comment section, but I want to focus on the main topic.

The reason why women like the "bad boy" is because they're not looking for her validation... they would rather have her respect. This is something men never ask,

"How do I get a woman to respect me?"

If men would ask that question more often, they'll get a ton of different answers, but they'll be that much closer to her liking him.

Getting respect means that sometimes you aren't gonna be liked at that moment. That's okay though, because you're not looking for validation anyway, right?

Let's say she said or did something that you didn't like. It turns into a bit of an argument. By you letting her know that you felt she was being rude or disrespectful and you're willing to walk away because you're disgusted by her behavior, she may cool off and apologize to you.

The hotter a woman is, the less likely a man is willing to show his disgust by walking away. The man who does will gain more respect than a man who just sits there and takes it, being more apologetic than disgusted.

When a man wants to establish respect first, he tends to have better relationships. If he breaks up with a woman, he may be guy she loved the most. He may be the template or measuring stick she uses to see how she wants her next boyfriend to be. If she gets into another relationship, he may be the guy she mentions, telling her current boyfriend,

"You're not even half the man as him. You're weak and pathetic. He knew how to treat me."

"Treating" a woman doesn't always mean make her feel special either. Sometimes correcting bad behavior and gaining respect is a way you have to treat her at that moment.

By the way, when these men break up with these women, they'll usually say "it was my fault". All of a sudden, this woman takes responsibility, when with other men, who may have tried to stay in her good graces, she blamed the break-up on them.

"So how do I stop trying to get validation from women?"

Get to know yourself. Know what you like and what you dislike. What you'll accept and what you'll refuse. Be clear on why you feel this way, so you can convey that to women. By the way, the better you can communicate certain feelings of like and dislike with women, the better conversations you'll have.

Establish respect before trying to become liked. You may be a very likable person by a lot of people, when that "like" has respect behind it, it's more potent. The goal is mutual respect. When you show women respect and they respect you, you'll realize that you get along better. She's not flaking out on you. If she disappoints you, she's willing to make it up to you. She'll mark dates that you and her are suppose to have on her calendar, turning down other people who want to hang out with her on those dates.

Don't be afraid to disagree with her or lose her. When you don't look for validation, you're not afraid to lose the girl. Your value comes from within. If a woman is not respectful and habitually is disrespectful, you don't want to have a relationship with her. You establish how people treat you in a relationship, before you enter the relationship. For you, you want it to be clear that you have certain terms that she must agree to in order to be in a relationship with you. If she can't agree to those terms, nothing personal. Move on to a woman who can agree to your terms.

When you stop looking for a woman's validation, you'll realize that you're able to be yourself. You're able to express your point of view a little more freely. You're able to sexually escalate a lot faster.

How? Because you don't have interference coming from your brain, telling you,

"If you do that or say that she's not gonna like you."

When you aren't looking for validation from women, don't be surprised if you see more women trying to get validation from you.
