Scene* Cofee table, three woman, friday night. There's always a solution, here's mine:

 Approach them like your approaching kittens in an adoption clinic. Walk up to them slow, your walk should convey kindness, calmness, and focus like wire-walker Philippe Petit when he crossed the twin towers. In your mind imagine that your approaching them because you have found the solutions to all their problems. Imagine that they really need you. Imagine that they called you to come over there because they've known you for years. Point is dont be a threat, dont attempt to extract anything from them. Once your close but not too close, you talk. You stop thinking and let your mouth talk. Trust that word will flow. And if they don't, then you talk about how your words dont flow. Point is to be alligned, words, thoughts, actions. When that happens, your not a threat to them and you dont come off as creepy. Goodluck chief, although luck is unnecessary, skill is better ;)

Anyway, If she is responding to you well, the other 2 (or 3 or 5, etc) will occupy each other.

If you can talk, at a bar, just sit down say hi Your name and they'll say theirs. If you can talk, just carry it from there
