How to approach naturally?

Some people have a genuinely unique style of approach. Guys like that need to figure it out and work it.

I don’t think I have a unique style though. Approach her like you’re seeing a friend you haven’t seen in a while. Say something like “hey how’s it going”. If she reacts well, start talking about something, anything, and try to be genuinely funny.

I've tried the eye contact thing. Never know if it's a good idea because women can be so touchy and possibly find it "creepy".

Anyway, you should just go on YouTube. There's literally hours and hours of videos on how to approach, talk to girls, etc. That's probably better than asking a bunch of strangers. Plus you don't have to wait for answers.

I'm not exactly sure what the answer is myself but definitely don't block her way. I think 90% of "game" is making the approach appear as though it's purely happenstance. Women seem to abhor straightforwardness when it comes to dating.

If it is a nice day, say "what a lovely day" (with a smile), if it's raining say "what a lovely day" (sarcastically). If she replies something that invites you to continue into a conversation, go on, if she nods and speedwalks away, you had your answer.

Just a few things, First, confidence is important but don’t make it obvious. So like “fake it till you make it” is okay. To a point. But make sure it feels genuine. If you wouldn’t normal walk up to a girl and be like “hey babe what’s up?” Don’t do it. It won’t feel natural. But like if you would normally start a conversation about something that’s a mutual interaction (drinking coffee in a shop, looking at books or strawberries in a store. Something that you’re both doing, creating a connection in that space) then yeah that’s fine. Second, there is nothing I notice more than a guy that meets my eyes and then looks away and smiles. And then looks back at me. You don’t even have to say anything. It’s like an instant thing like “ohh I think that guy is checking me out”. Smiling is so fucking important and no one talks about it. So maybe try that. Third, it’s less about what other people tell you to do. Find your own style of interaction. Maybe you’re funny? Or charming? Or just shy and sweet? Just try to find what’s comfortable for you.

What you"re describing is called daygame and there are lots of materials out there to help you get better at it. Such as books, youtube videos, courses you can buy and download, and live coaching (one on one and bootcamps).

The most important skill is how cool and relaxed you are (how naturally attractive you can become). But there are certain skills and techniques of walking, approaching girls, starting and ending conversations and so on which are covered in the various teaching materials.

To.give only one fairly old example, there is a course called "Daygame Blueprint" with a couple of British coaches that I thought was useful.
