Whenever I go out, I usually get about 2-3 numbers and I'm usually dating 2-3 girls at a time. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago I was suffering from a bout of one-itis so I got a little too desperate/aggressive in my texting and I got froze out by all my prospects. I was "talking" to about 4 girls but only one was really showing interest and going out of her way to hang out with me.

Well anyway, like an idiot I agreed to take on too many assignments at work and I found myself overloaded at work. I was going to be stuck in the office till midnight for at least a week. I only had one girl really showing interest, so I texted her and let her I know I would be too busy to hang out that week.

Then I realized, why don't I text the other 4 girls to let them know I'd be too busy to hang out too? I mean, one on hand, it was kind of an irrational thing to do, because they weren't exactly knocking down my door to hang out with me (or even answering my calls in 2 instances). Either way, I went ahead and texted them "Like an idiot I took on too many assignments and now I'm going to be going to be buried under work for the next 2 weeks :(" I phrased it that way so it seemed like I was just sending a chit-chatty, complainy, text - I didn't want to make it look like I was rejecting them.

Guess what? All 4 responded and showed interest. In the following 2 weeks, all 4 of them texted me several times trying to get me to hang out. Since then, I've fucked 2 of them (of the other 2, one is still flaky and the other I'm really just not interested in). It's absolutely amazing. I totally turned around the whole relationship by acting like I was too busy!

I'm going to try this more often.
