If you build enough attraction it'll be easy. They'll give you signs they want you to initiate or they'll meet you halfway. Stop focusing on escalating and learn to build attraction. If they're attracted to you everything gets easier.

Verbal escalation doesn’t have to be explicitly sexual. Don’t be like those guys on online dating apps who gas it from 0-60 mph in 5 secs. “Wanna suck my dick?” “Let’s see how good you are in bed.”

Here’s an example that happened just recently:

in our office a couple days ago there was a fire drill, everyone had to evacuate outside. I happened to be the first people who got out so I got a chair to sit on. Then there’s this colleague who’s pretty hot but had to stand up close to me as there’s no more chair to sit.

She told me to give up my chair of course I refused. I said “here you can sit on my lap” while pointing to my lap. She blushed but said “you’re a man you should give me your chair.” I was like “why? are you pregnant?” in a playful way of course. She doesn’t look too happy about it. But who cares.

Right after 5 while walking to the parking lot she approached me and told me I shouldn’t say that in front of everyone. I asked her why? She was like; well after you said that I thought of sitting on your lap… “and other things”, she said.

I didn’t even mean it like that. But I guess the way I said it made me look like I’m not like the other guys she knows who try to be nice and polite. And what I said unintentionally basically was giving her some ideas. It was just a small seed that grows into a tree like the movie Inception. Later that night both me and her kept texting back and forth. Tonight I’m gonna go out with her.

The vibes will tell you when it’s time to escalate. During the date you build up sexual tension. At some point the tension is so strong that you need to change the situation. So you escalate and start building new tension. Until it’s time to escalate again.

It’s like a car changing gears. And just like you will stall or crash if you don’t change gears when driving a driving, you will crash or stall if you don’t escalate during s date.
