You usually don't. You open, follow up on that open, maybe ask a question or make a comment, and then you ask them on a date. Take the interaction off of the app ASAP. You should ask for the date before you even send 10 messages. I usually ask at about 5 lol.

For your particular situation, you're right, she will lose interest. She has a dozen other dudes sending her pickup lines and she doesn't have time to keep up with guys who she can't meet up with. I'd personally just ask for her number, "so we can stay in touch until then." Then just talk to her every once in awhile. Like send her a meme or funny story once a week. Don't try to make it into something more, just remind her that you exist and are a laid back dude. Then schedule a first date when you can actually meet up.

the problem is you think that interest won’t die, of course it will, you won’t see for months regardless of how much texting you do. She will still have a life and will meet other guys and she will just not see you as a priority and neither should you. You need to remove that expectation because if iy happens it will happen but acting like you need a good result in the long term will only end up in a disappointment. Assume and accept that she will lose interest, and if enough time passes by that you can see each other then truco then from the start

So, first off you need to keep relationship tempo in mind. Relationships need to progress and continue to get to new levels to keep interest. If you will never be an option, it's likely to slowly fizzle out. You are long distance and only have text, you have to slow it down and keep attraction high. Which, means talking less and also making a deep connection you need to drag out the tempo.

First and foremost you need to talk to her and get to know her enough to develop a meaningful connection where she wonders about you. This is hard as hell, but you need to find something to connect with her that is unique and something she isn't getting. You also need to double check your social media and either A.) tone it down to remain mysterious or B.) ramp it up to keep her entertained. I recommend toning it down. One or two good pictures and nothing else. However, this is just me as I'm not a big social media guy.

Okay, so once you have a connection where you've had some multi-hour text sessions and you are certain you want to see her again, you'll need to find a reason to be in her area. Doesn't matter when, but you need to plan another trip there. Specifically a trip for you. You and I know you are going there to see her, but she can't know that's the reason. Plan something fun, go on tours or see some stuff you're interested in. Plan to do something that you'll have a good time even if she isn't around. Ideally, some things where she can tag along.

Next, you need to tell her about the trip and start building the fantasy for her. Tell her you are going and a few things you plan to do. Then slowly hint towards doing things with her. Ideally, you get her to ask to see you. If she doesn't ask her to see you when you're on your way there.
