I’m getting a few matches, but I’ve never been able to set up a date successfully. I’ve tried almost everything, talking a lot before asking for their #, asking for a date quickly, getting snap, etc. Here are 3 of my last few examples:

1) i say hey whats up, she responds i say 2 lines asking what music she likes, she responds with 3 and say wbu, i respond with 3 lines about what I like and she stopped responding after that. I did take a while to respond (6h) cuz I didnt have notifications on so maybe it was that but this always happens so idk

2) we converse back and forth like 5 times on tinder then i ask for her # to set something up and she stopped responding. Too soon to ask for #? Idk what else it could be but thought we had a decent convo

3) i met this girl at the club, in fact she came up to me and asked my name (cuz I knew her friend). I get her IG and dm her the next day and she responds really quickly. Im like no way i can mess this up, she literally asked me my name at the club. I say something else, she responds. Then i ask her if she wants to get a drink later that week and she never opened that msg. I thought she gave me signs she was interested (responding on ig rly quickly) so i wanted to set up a date before she lost interest.

Any advice on these situations or general pointers on how to set up a date after matching on Tinder? Is there an optimal # of messages before I ask for their #? How fast should I respond? What should I do after I get their #? Appreciate any advice
