There's a video I watch every once in a while on YouTube by a guy named Brian Begin. He talks about masculine energy and feminine energy. He said that feminine energy is the river and the river bank is masculine energy. That feminine energy is the painting and masculine energy is the picture frame.
Let's take that last example of painting/picture frame. His example was that we enjoy art and certain painting, but that frame is what holds it in place.
"Okay, so what's your point?"
My point is this. I hear a lot of guys say, maintain your frame, but it seems more like how they carry themselves. In this example, we'll use "keeping a woman in her place".
If a frame is too big or too small for a painting, the frame is not gonna keep the painting in it's place. So you need to be match the size of the painting to keep it in it's place.
When a woman is acting very emotional or being very disrespectful to her man, he will either blow up at her (the frame is bigger than the art. The "art" keeps falling out of the frame) or he will submit to her to keep her happy (the frame is too small. The "art" is "spilling out" of the frame).
Keeping a woman in her place (the frame's size matches the art) is not a bad thing. It's actually something she wants.
So let's say you have a girl who tries to call you insecure because you don't like her flirting with other guys.
"Oh my god, you're so insecure. You're so controlling."
You tell her in a very calm tone.
"Hmm. Okay, so what will your girlfriends think about our relationship if you do this? You're telling them that you and I aren't that serious. You're actually telling your girlfriends that they can flirt with me. They know I treat you really well. Some may wish they had a guy like me. That you're so lucky to find a 'catch" like me. If they think we're not serious, you're giving them an open opportunity to flirt with me. So is flirting with other guys more important than having your girlfriends trying to steal me away?"
Women know that at least one of their girlfriends would try to sleep with her boyfriend. So by you telling her something like this, what you're saying is, "If you cheat on me with one of these guys, I'll leave you for one of your girlfriends".
A woman needs to know that no matter how out of control she gets, you can easily keep her in her place.
No matter how beautiful and expressive the art is, the frame always keeps the art in it's place.
No matter how wild and violent the river gets, the river banks always keeps the river in it's place.
Keeping a woman in her place is not controlling her, it's just making sure she doesn't lose her place with you. If you don't like women who disrespect you, you need to check the disrespectful behavior so she won't do something to make you have to break up with her. If your girl wants to date other guys and still be with you, you need to express to her that "two frames can't hold the same piece of art". If she's gonna be with you, it's only you. If she wants to be with another guy or other guys, she can't be in your frame.
If she's not your girl, you need to let it be know early that you are the "frame" and she is the "art". You are a man who keeps women in their place.
