How to say goodbye after a date?

Hmm...depends.

If we have sex I'd take the girl home or drop her off somewhere to get a ride and just say "bye" with a smile on my face. If she's into you, that's enough and I mainly do this because when I'm single I sleep with multiple girls and I'm honest with all the girls about this so I don't want to kiss her or hug her goodbye because it might send boyfriend vibes and I've had girls go crazy when they feel like theres something special between us even if she knows I'm seeing other girls.

If she goes home in the morning then I'll text her something flirty within an hour or two. I'll say something like, "Hey you left your panties on my dining table" then have a little flirty back & forth and talk about cool things we should do/try in the future. That's usually enough to make her feel like I want to see her again. If she goes home late at night then I'll just text her the next day with the same thing.

If you're going for a girlfriend though, I don't see why a quick goodbye peck on the lips would be a problem after having sex from a date. Hugging might be a little much if it was a first date. A hug is actually more romantic than a kiss on the lips in this context.

If it was an unsuccessful date but still fun, (i.e. we didn't even kiss but we both had fun) I'd be talking about future things to do/try to set up a second date but then be the one to say I have to get going and end the date so that she'll be the one worried whether I liked her or not. I'd just give her one of those polite kisses on the cheek to say bye.

I'd still text her a few hours later. I don't know what it is but girls seem to think that if we don't text them after a date that we're not really interested in seeing them again. I'd still stay away from the typical, "I had fun, lets do that again" thing. I'd instead make a callback to the date. So for example, if we met someone interesting during the date I'd say something like, "Hey I bumped into that kid we met that knew so much about dinosaurs after you left. He said you had a nice butt but that you seemed a little vanilla." then you know, game as usual. But I don't text long after dates. Maybe I'd just do 4 texts back & forth then stop.

If it was a total disaster, I'd make an excuse to leave and leave.

You simply go for the kiss if she gave you signals. Then you tell her to stay in touch.

Let her do the thinking about "was it a good date"" did he had a good time with me?"

She will reach out, just set up another date and you are good to go.

all of that sounds fine

but if there is hesitation on your part as to weather it was succesful or where she stands then i wouldnt put her on the spot for future dates...

keep it as brief as possible...this was fun.....good night...smiley face if you want to be ambigious mysterious or whatever....
