I've had this happen quite a few times and am curious how others would respond. Best explained with the following example.

Match with a girl online on Sunday night. Have some great banter at which point I ask her out and ask for her number. She sounds keen, sends her phone number, at which point we work to lock something in. Propose a location that works for both of us on Friday evening to grab a drink, she confirms and says it sounds great. When I propose we lock in a specific time on Tuesday, she says great, let's do that. I propose a specific time on the Tuesdays, she hangs, no response..... until Friday day, a few hours before said proposed time.

In my opinion, the fact that these girls are expecting me to be holding my breath, not making any plans, awaiting a response at the 11th hour is just poor behaviour.

Now, given how common ghosting is, if I don't get a response, I just assume they're chasing something else, or lost interest, which is ok, I just move on. I consider it basic self respect.

I've had a few girls crack the shits when I mention I'd already made other plans.

How would you deal with this situation? What are your thoughts?
