Good shit! Coming from that background, it's definitely a good direction for you.

That being said, just don't take it too extreme. It's easy to use "I don't care" as a defense mechanism. That kinda shit will prevent you from making emotional connections with the people that you actually want in your life.

But overall, good shit.

There's a term for the attitude you just described. It's called "outcome independence." Basically, you don't worry about whether or not you get rejected. If you see an attractive woman, you think "I wonder what she's like" instead of "I hope she likes me." If a man with outcome independence gets rejected by a woman, he shrugs it off and moves on. But if a man who is outcome dependent gets rejected, he might spend the rest of the night sitting in the corner and sulking because his ego has been bruised.
