What I figured out is that many people would try to ignore that. Most of them would just simply forget about it. And even if they don't forget about it and, instead, remember for the rest of their lives (which is RARE), they will not recall it so many times.

Why?

Because they have their own stuff going on inside their mind.

They have fears, insecurities, problems, tasks, etc

Yea that’s kind of normal. It just kinda goes away on its own the more approaches you do.

Eventually you don’t even think about other people. Or their reactions anymore.

This is a maladaptive response. Shame is an emotion evolved for kin or community members you interact with regularly. Those NPCs at the subway are not a part of your kin or your effective community (ppl u interact with regularly whose appraisal of u actually matters)

The question to ask yourself is why do you feel shame? Because you're more engaged in other people's opinion of you than you are of your own opinion of yourself. You care too much what people will think of you and whether they judge you. Want to stop feeling that shame? Always put yourself first. Approach because you want that girl, workout because you wanna be huge, work because you wanna be rich. When you get to the point where you approach because you want it bad enough, then you won't care what people think and feel shame. Because you'll be whoever you want to be doing whatever you want without worrying about what the people think of you. Good luck!

First of all, congrats for your courage. Now think about this:

you said you felt like people was watching at you. What you felt, and what happened in reality might differ.
even if (but I doubt) someone was looking at you, ask yourself if they would have done what you did, and why don’t they think at their business? Those miserables, lol ;-)

following the points above, you can easily see how not giving a fuck is the way to go, hopefully at a minimum viable social decency to not be a jerk or harass people.
