Sorry to burst your bubble: but the typical situation where a couple’s relationship isn’t great, they still don’t break up yet but she said they will soon, will actually never happen soon. She’s just pulling your strings.

If she believed you’re better than her bf, she would’ve broken up with him and replaced him with you by now.

If she believed that she could just cheat on him by having sex with you because their relationship isn’t great, that also would’ve happened by now.

Like I said to my coworker who had a similar issue: “if she’s still not leaving her bf regardless how often she complains to you about him, then the sex is probably great. How confident are you at competing with him in bed?”

You're her security which helps her stay in her shitty relationship. You might as well be her sister. If there's any semblance of interest coming from her, it's because you're filling the needs that the guy who's filling her isn't.

You have two moves as I see it. A - do nothing and let her go. B - the last thing you say to her acknowledges a little attraction BUT tells her that never seeing her again is good for her.

Don’t ever date a coworker! If you guys break up you have to find a new job or face the fact that you have to see her every day. Also no one ever takes the guys side of things also makes you outcasted from coworkers

what you would do for now is try to get her number. if she's gives her number to you, trust me. you might have a chance that she will open a doorway for you.

Never be someone else's security blanket, no matter how much you want her. It's just never worth it regardless. Let alone when it's a coworker or even someone that works for you or under you in the workplace hierarchy (which happened to me before)
