I recently contracted HSV 1 from a girl that I slept with. Overall not a terrible std but the social stigma surrounding it is terrible and a huge deal breaker.

Can anyone provide me with some information as to how getting an std has changed their game or if it has ended it? It feels like it is now impossible to meet a girl and sleep with her unless we get into a committed relationship since the risk for her would be high.

Any help would be appreciated, I was pretty devastated when I learned I contracted it.
