I am one of the more experienced PUA's that frequents this community, though I usually prefer to lurk on this particular reddit as opposed to remaining active (I am far too lazy to write out FR's). Anyway, the best thing to keep going through your mind, at least from my own experience, is that the girl you are talking to already likes you, and therefore you do not have to qualify yourself. This makes me a hundred times more confident and easy going than I normally would be around a HB9+.

And remember, rejection is only as painful as the way to take it. Perhaps a trip to /r/howtonotgiveafuck may be in order for you.

find something at first that you find interesting or appealing at her appearance. comment on that > bam easy opener
eye contact 2a. create bubble to enable good conversation and avoid interruptions from enviroment
find a good topic and stick to it 3a. good mixture between self-information and questions/listening is essential
mirroring.
