I fucking love me. Even when I’m clearly being a douchbag to an independent observer, I’m still a big fan. This self condemnation and self hatred is getting you NOTHING. I don’t have the answer as to how you get out of that mindset, but that’s one and only thing you should focus on. Getting female attention is a side benefit of getting your shit together. Be someone interesting and people will catch on. Calling yourself boring is only useful if it identifies a problem that you set about solving. What are you interested in? (Besides getting some clam)

Never ever ever speak poorly of yourself. I was in a similar position as you a few years back and I know how bad you feel. It all starts by valuing yourself first, develop your self-esteem first, then your confidence. Read books on topics you are interested in so that you become more interesting. Go look up some classic non fiction books to get you started. Meditate, this will help you eradicate any negative emotions you have. MOST IMPORTANT IS FIND YOUR PURPOSE What do you want yo accomplish and do with your life? Be an artist? Singer? Author? Restaurant owner? Figure it out and work for it everyday, this will empower you. Once you are on your path you will not need to please girls, and they will naturally gravitate towards you.

Go on youtube and look up Jason capital, go to his older videos and watch them, they will seriously help you out with the ladies. Once you’ve done all that come back here and let me know how you are doing. Good luck brother, remember, what you believe about your self will manifest into reality.

Youre 17 and im 29 and still feel the same way. Best thing to do is make the best of every situation no matter how hard, shitty, anxious it may feel. When i was 17 a dime piece literally came up to me and wanted to get to know me but since I was such an anxious kid i ran from her. Its not worth the feeling of regret and shame to run from your fears like that. You need to do and get what u want. Its the only way you can make your life meaningful.

I'd pick up some art skills. Confidence comes from being good at something. Get good at something.

Meditation is pretty straightforward. Could get a therapist. Join a gaming group. Do Improv.

Good thing? Hell a great thing even. You're fucking 17. You've got plenty of time to fix your shit. At 17 I'd imagine most dudes weren't much better off than you. You could potentially get a very substantial edge over your peers if you start getting your shit together at such a young age.

Hey hey!!! i feel the same way as you and im a 16yr old gal. but hey the first step to self-improvement is self-awarness (i think)!!! u know where the problem is so now the next step is to fix it. nobody is born perfect, anything can be learned! even talking to people! i had a realization after weeks of hopelessness, and i realized that our thoughts are powerful and we can create our own world the way we want it to be. if you dont want to be a boring loser then you dont have to be! you can change it! it takes effort and time, but its POSSIBLE! also i think your biggest problem is obviously low self-esteem and negative thinking. just like negative self-talk can make you feel shitty, positive self-talk can make you feel better! theres a few tricks for that. you could maybe write down positive phrases on a piece of paper and reread them every morning when you wake up! it can help alot. anyways idk if what i wrote made sense but i wish you the best :) we can get thru it

Be willing to talk to everyone and make the conversation fun, doesn’t have to be sexual. Don’t put so much effort into chasing girls, it’s a turn off. Being comfortable having a conversation with anyone takes time, but you are so young, really. You wanna start having experiences, a job (I recommend lifeguard), go to concerts, and take trips when you can, and hobbies so you have things to talk about besides pop culture. If you think you need therapy because of how you view yourself then do it. Most of my biggest regrets in my life are because I didn’t do something, talk to that hot girl, go on that trip, say hi to those fun people over there. Again, you are young and even if it takes 2-5 years to become truly happy with yourself, you will then have the rest of your life to enjoy, so take small steps when you can.
