Ok this is probably me just way overthinking things but I want to get seddit's opinion anyway. I know that you're not supposed to have oneitis and such, and I don't, but I was intrigued by this incident. We're both in college btw.
There was this girl that I met once and we actually had good chemistry (talked for about 10 minutes) but she had to go and she was with some guy (maybe a boyfriend? Maybe not?), so I didn't get her number. I honestly felt like she was into me, she was smiling and friendly, but then again she could just be a friendly person. I facebook'd her a few days later and she accepted, nothing special. Anyway, I sent her a message once because she was asking all of her friends for a ride. I decided to just send an offer, maybe she really didn't have anyone to give her a ride and I was going in the same direction. She very politely declined but was thankful for my offer. Also, I think I saw her once (and she saw me) but I was kind of out of it/tired and didn't say anything to her. I don't think any of this was a big deal, and I honestly figured she would eventually forget about me.
Fast forward to now (like 4 months later), she randomly decided to defriend me on Facebook. I know it's lame that I'm overthinking facebook like this, but it's kind of odd that a girl I barely know sought out my profile to defriend it, out of her like 1500+ friends (it's not like she was doing spring cleaning, removing a bunch of people or something).
Either she thought I was creepy (which is totally possible, and probably the most likely answer) or it was an intriguing way to get my attention? I mean, she probably knew I checked her profile occasionally (since I had sent her a message once) and really had no way of reaching me aside from meeting randomly on campus. Perhaps it was a neg in some way, kind of getting my attention in a negative way, but also get my intrigue?
Again, i'm probably way overthinking this, but if someone picks out your profile when they have 1700 friends and explicitly removes you, there's a reason behind it. Hell, if she has so many friends in the first place, that means she doesn't remove people often. I wish I knew what the reason was, whether it be good or bad.
