ignore the technical advice on saying hi or not saying hi, or using excuse me or not. It's not what makes the difference. Trust me I've been doing coaching for more than 20 years. What you are probably lacking sexual energy. no need to banter like they teach you at typical daygame school. it's ok to banter, nothing wrong with it. but the banter you had in your example was enough. could be more and would be ok to. but it wouldn’t make a difference. I suspect your energy was not sexual enough. when you walk up to her make sure you are almost horny filled with sexual energy. look her in they eye and hit her with a smash hammer of sexual energy and your results will skyrocket. please don't confuse this with being sexually aggressive in your words. your words should remain the same, meaning on a socially acceptable level, but your energy has to be completely sexy. most daygamers teach technical stuff like say 'hi' or don't say 'excuse me'. in reality it doesn’t make much of a difference. Once you are at a decent level (and it looks you have, judging from your example), it's about your sexual energy. Focus on that. Don’t waste your time becoming ‘technically better’.

Overly friendly can sometimes be interpreted as dishonest, fake or superficial, so yeah. Its also less masculine, I'm just sayin.

Stop starting conversations by framing it as random. It's an old way of (insecure way) of prefacing a direct opener. Just open direct. "I saw you and thought you are adorable." is fine. a "hey" before it is fine, like "hey, I saw you and thought you are adorable" but I wouldn't use "hey" as the entire opener. You are also asking for a name too quickly...there should be more conversation first. Teasing and banter should be in there too.

Oh, and opening with "excuse me" would be worse.

Stop with the front stops. It's an other old european tactic that probably doesn't do what you want it too. dont open her by grabbing her (arm) either.

Framing them as having a long day...is framing them as being tired and i wouldnt frame them a way you don't want them to act.

Try setting the date up on the initial pickup as an anti-flake tactic. Women do flake but maybe you can get them to flake less with solid game and this date setup technique.

BTW, being too friendly shouldn't be a problem as long as you are clear in your intent and sexually escalate. I'm friendly.

oh and i forgot to say, in addition to focusing on your sexual vibe, also check and focus on your body language. That's going to get you to the next level. Really man. Not saying "random" or saying "random" or front stopping or not front stopping is not going to give you improvements to the next level. Also note that the girl in the example might have had a boyfriend and gave her number anyways. Really hope this helps and i hope you don't get stuck in skills-addiction land. Your verbal skills, judging from your example are fine. You won't get much better results from further tweaking them. Again focus on sexual energy, and body language. I know what i'm writing does not sound as sexy as giving you the verbally technicalities, but at your stage, you don't need more verbal game. Enjoy the journey my friend :)

Hey there, I have a 3 hour long webinar on exactly how to get numbers and what to send her to get the date after the number and how to minimize flakes. You see most of the daygame advice is dead wrong. they tell you to approach build attraction, then comfort and talk about 10 tot 15 minutes to get solid numbers. It takes forever to learn and the flake rates are extremely high. I've been coaching men for more then 20 years and have found that a short 2 minute conversation is the best to get the most solid numbers. And man, we tested everythin for our clients.
