Heh... your'e in a small town with 6000 students and you're getting a reputation? A reputation that is big enough that people know you before you even open your mouth? Dude, that's awesome.

If you get called out for it, play it off, ignore it like frogma said, and don't treat it as an issue. If they really push it and make it an issue you could say

"So I'm hearing that you settle for the first guy who comes your way? Hm..."

Enter thoughtful look and head turn, then go back to a topic that doesn't involve your player status. This will disregard her issue while still addressing it, get her on the defense just enough that she'll either have to explain herself and unintentionally agree that you do nothing wrong, or shut it down cold. It also says a lot about how you're picky and have options. All in one sentence :)

That's always been a good thing for me. Pretty much 100% of the girls who have labeled me a player ended up in bed with me later on that night.

The trick is to be unapologetic for it. Don't try to explain it away, and don't necessarily defend yourself the same way you would if a girl called you a murderer or something.

I don't know what it is, but they're turned on by players, no matter what they say about it.

If it's a girl you've already been with (like it is here), I'll usually either skirt around the issue and ignore it, or I'll give her a line like "I'm looking for the right girl, and I need to try it with others before I find the right one." Basically say anything that reframes the situation, and to be congruent, it should be true.

Edit: Speaking of which, Suite Life of Zach and Cody happened to be on yesterday (don't ask me how or why- a lady never tells), and this girl told Zach he was player. He said (I have to paraphrase because I don't really remember): "I was a player. In fact, you might say I was the Most Valuable Player... blah blah blah." I forget what else he said, but I'll definitely try to use that the next time it comes up.

Yo Kentyfish, I agree with Frogma. Make no excuses for it. Girls usually call me out on it too, since most if them have never been approached with direct game in the daytime before.

WHEN THEY CALL ME OUT ON BEING A PLAYER I always nod and agree with them and admit that "... I'm a terrible, TERRIBLE man..!" (unquote).

They will admire you for your honesty. I know this for a fact, because they normally tell me they like my straight-forwardness, unlike the other guys who always try to hide and deny their intentions.

The best things is that being a 'terrible man' just feels... ... good... ;-)
