Been on this sub from time to time and really enjoy reading about the community anecdotes and recommendations. Now, I am trying to gather some advice for my own dilemma. I am a 22M and went out 4th of July afternoon to enjoy myself at local bar after finishing an MCAT practice exam. Fast forward a little bit, two chicks behind us ask us what we were drinking, we start talking to them, order some more drinks, and end up going back to their apartment complex right across the street. We continued drinking and having a good time while I continued to hit it off with a 30 y/o brunette we met from the bar. There's some playful flirtatious banter between us, I get her number and end up leaving the night pretty inebriated. I texted her the next day and she responds very quickly and agrees to see me again. We hang out about 2 or 3 times over the next few weeks and hookup. We continue to get intimate at times but balance it out with laughter and organic connection. However, I just can't seem to understand the wavelength she is coming in at. She has told me about her past relationship with her ex and how I have the characteristics she is looking for in a relationship but then later that night mentioned the possibilities of being "f*ck buddies." That being said, I just don't know the approach I should take. I really enjoy spending time with her but can also see the maturity change over an 8 year difference, which would extinguish any possibility of this materializing into a relationship. Should I be more initiative and do something sweet like leave her a romantic note/flowers or play it cool and just see where things go?
