I was reading someones post earlier (an apparent expert of PUA) and he was saying after you open, never ask one of the questions of doom (such as age, name, where she's from, what she does for a job)

Got me thinking about how people here tend to begin a conversation and 'hook' the girl after they open.

Imagine you open a cute girl in a bar with sort of obseravtional opener or something. Then you remember you can't ask her any of the typical 'getting to know you' questions at this stage because you need to 'build attraction' first.

But in this day and age, DHV stories and palm reading and 'routines' etc are very frowned upon (especially here) plus they can tend to make the girl think you're a bit weird (which is maybe why this style of game died out!)

The only thing I've found that most people seem to agree on is 'cold reads' as a follow up too an opener, but often one of these won't be enough to spark a convo. Do you just keep making tonnes of 'cold reads'!!?

What do you guys tend to lead with after you have opened a girl?

If I had to guess, most of you DO ask the usual name/age questions etc? (RSD seem to think it's fine!). I often read on seddit 'what you say doesn't matter' so I'd assume that most people do go into what the other guy described as 'questions of doom'

I also guess there's bound to be at least a handful of mysterymethod guys who go straight into some sort of palm reading routine or a DHV story about the time they beat up a bear or whatever.
