It seems like everyone has a different level of congruency that they're cool with someone else having. By congruency, I mean your body language, voice, tonality, and general actions that match your real self when you're alone. If you're around a super aware empath, you probably need like a 90% congruency level, or they'll sniff you out. But, if you're in a club, everyone's drunk, and the chick is insecure, maybe you need a 40-50% congruency level, which is why you see all these uncalibrated dudes getting chicks just because they're forcing the number game. I've seen it happen. Like the person seems fake af to me, but some people don't see it. It's like they're blind to the lack of congruency. And there's others that notice it, but they don't really give a shit since they're not affected, so they'll play along without involving themselves with the person too much, or just having them there as a prop to their own events. Maybe they'll feel bad and try to "guide" the person, which is where empaths usually come in.

In a fucked up way, in seduction, it feels like ignorance is bliss. The more aware of congruency you are, the more awkward that cold approaching feels because you know that you're being incongruent and that some people see that incongruency, while you're playing to the ones that have a lower threshold and don't register that lack of congruency. It's literally fucking aids. This is why imo, people with asbergers don't have approach anxiety. It doesn't register for them. The only dope thing about cold approach is that most people around will have their opinions about you, but they won't do shit. Because people don't like to get involved, and tend to keep their judgements internally. As a bonus, if it's in a random place, then even if that person remembers the event, within a day, they'll forget the face attached to the person who approached, so you'll be in the clear if that's what you're worried about.
