When I'm being lazy, bored, or waste time, that's when I stumble on peoples' feeds and get easily jealous. I noticed that when I'm working towards something and feel fullfilled in terms of my wants and needs, even if someone has a billion dollars or a lot more of something, I'm not salty because I'm living my best life. It's not even about affirmations or self-work or any of that bs. Obviously, self-work can get you to a point where even if your life wasn't going where you wanted it to despite the work, you would still not be salty. But, I've noticed that when I'm meeting my wants/needs and putting in the work and being process-dependent, the result no longer matters.

If you're approaching 1-3 times a week, regularly as a process and putting in the work, and seeing the progress (which happens over months to years, not weeks, which you need to come to terms with), you stop giving a fuck about the "natural" or whoever the fuck else. You're doing you and improving every single day. Everyone has their demons, even if they have all the end-results you think you want. If you create processes and follow them for a purpose, that destroys the requirement to be like anyone else. You might have a very small tinge of envy, but it'll be easy to translate that into excitement towards keeping up being process-dependent, because you'll get closer to your destination by just putting in the work day-by-day.
