I tend to have a very positive outlook on life and that flows into my interactions with women especially on insta-dates (when excitement level is high). I've noticed that this could be seen as negative by girls. Could (sometimes overly) positive behavior be seen as a negative?

For example, met this girl at grocery store and went to grab a gelato by the sunset. I would be overly excited/flirty about things like "this gelato place is the most magical place on earth" obviously as a joke. "This sunset is beautiful." She says "I like olives, do you like olives", I say "I like your olive skin ;)" I'd ofc also get serious about reasonable questions.

After the date, she mentioned that we have a different outlook on life: "you are so grandiose and excited, I see things for the way they are." Towards the end, while walking back, when I asked her about her life, the girl mentioned that things have been going awful for her in life but it was too late at that point.
