So it’s my second week of college and when I first got here, I made friends with my room mate, a girl he met at orientation, and my suite mate. Since my room mate and suite mate would play video games together the first couple of nights, I would talk with this girl. She started flirting with me pretty obviously and then a couple of days later broke up with her high school boyfriend because he wanted a break. That night she slept in my bed (she did this 2 more nights as well) and started flirting even harder (tickling, staring at me, rubbing my knee with her fingers, sleeping with her arm on me, resting her head on my shoulder, etc.) I was into her but wanted some space since we would hang out in all of our free time and it felt a bit too intense and fast moving for me. I didn’t reciprocate the flirting as much as she was, because it was a bit too much for me and I wanted to give her some space because of her breakup. In an attempt to “help” me, my suite made put the moves on her and now she doesn’t flirt with me at all but does with him. Apparently, she told him she’s over me and now it’s really hard to be around them mostly because I feel led on and used as some kind of rebound. I’m trying to not be around them as much and go meet other people, but is it ok to talk to her about it? if so, how? or should I just move on (I’m not looking to get with her, just for some closure as to why she hurt me)?
